SQUARE FOOTAGE: 500 | COMPLETED DECEMBER 2017 | WESTON, FLorida

This may be just a room to any other person, but to children it is a creative sanctuary. We designed this fun and sophisticated playroom keeping it anything but ordinary. Starting off with a neutral palette, we explored many textures and patterns to broaden their senses. The soft grey gradient wallcovering is playful yet refined. The wood cabinet storage and desk warms up the room while providing storage to conceal games, toys and a place for work.

Using their imagination to play and interact with one another is important, but so is homework and learning. This horizontal work surface allows for them to sit down and do their school work. Easy access bucket bins parallel to the desk store many tools for creative work. Adjacent to the desk is an upholstered bench seat for Mom or Dad to sit down and help if needed. (Or is a really great place to curl up and read a book!)  From an engaging magnet wall, designed with the youngest in mind to a full size air hockey table for the competitive and young at heart, this space was designed for children of all ages. Wall accessories such as book shelves and metal airplane chord display the latest reads and recently completed artwork. Overall this space was designed with family in mind to connect, play and laugh together.
