Interior Design Meets Community Involvement
As socially aware citizens, we value and nurture the relationships and connections we have made. It is very important to us to be active in our community and support other
local small businesses whenever our schedule allows. As a team we are involved in a variety of both networking and non-profit groups ranging from local to global. You get in
what you put out, and by caring to get involved in the community it brings a feeling of pride and positivity to others.
Speaking of getting involved, this is our 4th year of being on the committee for the Salvation Army’s ReDesigner Bash. Not only does this event raise money to benefit an
open door shelter that serves the chronically homeless, it also helps inspire creativity in others. The ReDesign Bash allows people to get innovative and re-purpose art, furniture
and decorative pieces that need some TLC. These pieces might otherwise get thrown away or be considered junk, just adding to our already too high landfills. As such, these
efforts are also environmentally friendly, as you are re-purposing old pieces to be used again. Once redesigned, these items are then displayed and auctioned off the night of the event.
