Square Footage: 950 | Completed June 2015 | East Fort Lauderdale, Florida

The design concept for the residential interior redesign of this ground floor, two-story house located near Fort Lauderdale beach, was one of light and airy comfort, while incorporating items from the owner's worldwide travels. The existing interior design was transformed into one that is bright and inviting with the addition of lights, plus updating the wall and countertop materials. The couple's three young children were considered with the layout and selection of furniture and finishes throughout each space. The outdoor pool area provides a soothing haven and incorporates kid-friendly design pieces. The guest bathroom is a complete transformation with a smaller and updated vanity to enlarge the space, beautiful lighting and a pop of color. The total space was under 1,000 square feet and the design concept was created to provide flow between functional spaces.
