With a background in international retail design, Joy approaches every project as a narrative, weaving branding and storytelling into the architectural fabric. Over the course of her career, she has led more than 200 completed projects representing over one million square feet of commercial space, guiding developments with budgets ranging from $20,000 to $170 million.
Joy founded Jewel Toned Interiors with a vision to create environments where design excellence and human well-being coexist. Under her leadership, the firm has grown into a multidisciplinary practice integrating interior design, architectural coordination, and brand storytelling across luxury multifamily, workplace, wellness, and residential environments.
As a LEED Accredited Professional, Joy brings a sustainability-driven perspective to design, ensuring the environments her team creates support environmental responsibility, human experience, and overall well-being.
Joy was the first female President of the Construction Executives Association and now serves on its Board of Directors, continuing to advance conversations around leadership and mental health in the construction industry.
Outside the studio, Joy enjoys travel, fitness, and exploring global cultures that continue to inspire her design perspective. At home, her daughters, Eliza, Isla Rose, and Scarlet, her son Rowan, as well as her husband, Andy keep her vibrant and inspired.

A proud member of Gator Nation, Jaclyn Morrison is a licensed Interior Designer with extensive experience delivering large-scale commercial environments for organizations such as GE, Travelers Insurance, State Farm, and Cox Communications. She is known for her ability to bridge conceptual vision with project execution, ensuring design intent is carried thoughtfully from early planning through completion.
Jaclyn brings particular strength to space planning, where her strategic mindset and attention to detail help translate a Client's program into environments that are both functional and inspiring. A strong believer in collaboration, she values the collective energy of multidisciplinary teams and enjoys pushing architectural boundaries to achieve thoughtful, well-resolved solutions.
As a WELL Accredited Professional, Jaclyn approaches design with an awareness of how the built environment influences human health and experience. She previously served as President of the Fort Lauderdale/Boca Raton chapter of CREW, reflecting her commitment to professional leadership and advancing the industry.
Outside the studio, Jaclyn enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband Richard and their two young sons, Dean and Knox. Her family remains her greatest source of inspiration and motivation.

Suzette joined the JTI team after spending five years in residential design and furnishing, contributing to the interior development of model homes for the Lennar Corporation and delivering tailored design solutions for residential clients. She approaches design as the creation of functional, cohesive, and inspiring spaces, blending aesthetics with practicality to exceed client expectations.
A Florida International University alumna, Suzette holds a Master's in Architecture and a Master's in Interior Design, bringing her expertise as a licensed Florida Interior designer and NCIDQ-certified professional to every project. Throughout her career, she has led design projects from concept to completion, specializing in space planning, FF&E selection, material, and curated finishes, while developing design deliverables that support both client presentations and construction execution.
Outside of her professional work, Suzette draws inspiration from travel, diverse cultures, and the design of spaces that enhance comfort and well-being, bringing creativity and warmth to every project she undertakes.

As an enthusiastic, seasoned interior designer with a proven track record at our firm, Cindy is always up for a new challenge. Her passion for traveling has taken her to explore new places and broadened her cultural knowledge, deeply influencing her global design aesthetic. The environmental changes we see every day have inspired her to spearhead sustainable commercial interiors within our portfolio. Her focus is on creating beautiful and sustainable designs that have a lasting, positive impact on others.
A Florida International University alumna, Cindy is both diligent and dependable, seamlessly guiding complex projects from concept to completion. You can always count on Cindy to tell it like it is, which is highly valued in an environment built on authenticity. With an excellent eye for mixing materials, she brings unique, elevated insight to all her projects. Cindy is unapologetically bold, which translates to interior concepts that contain striking, intentional sophistication. In 2023, she was recognized as one of Interior Design magazine’s 30 Under 30 Emerging Designers, highlighting her as a rising talent in the industry.

With a cheerful disposition and strong attention to detail, Karissa is an integral member of the Jewel Toned Interiors team. She joined JTI in 2022 after earning a BFA in Interior Design with a minor in General Business from Iowa State University. Originally from Minnesota, she was eager to begin her career in a more tropical setting.
She has taken a leading role in residential design projects, guiding them from concept through implementation, ensuring every project is both beautiful and cohesive. She enjoys creating thoughtful, functional, and visually engaging spaces.
Before graduation, Karissa gained experience at a development company and a residential showroom, strengthening her understanding of both the design process and client experience. Karissa has been recognized twice in Interior Design magazine’s 30 Under 30 Emerging Designers, underscoring her innovative approach and growing influence in the field. Outside of work, you can find her traveling or spending time with family and friends.

Brittney is a licensed Architect and Registered Interior Designer with over 20 years of experience leading complex projects across the commercial, hospitality, and civic sectors, as well as multifamily, workplace, education, and residential environments. Known for delivering thoughtful, high-performing spaces on time and within budget, she brings a balanced approach that integrates design excellence with operational precision and a focus on wellness, sustainability, and the Client experience.
A University of Miami Architecture graduate, Brittney brings a unique dual-credentialed perspective to JTI, excelling in the intersection of space planning and stakeholder engagement. She seamlessly integrates architecture and interiors to create environments that are both highly functional and deeply impactful. Her design philosophy is rooted in wellness-centered environments and effective communication. Her expertise spans space planning, programming, and design, supported by a reputation for collaboration and clarity across project teams.
Beyond her technical expertise, she is known for mentoring teams and championing innovative solutions. As Design Director at Jewel Toned Interiors, Brittney plays a key role in elevating the studio through design leadership, team development, and a forward-thinking approach that strengthens both culture and Client engagement. A powerhouse of advocacy for the industry, Brittney has served on the Executive Board of the South Florida IIDA and as Chapter President for A4LE.
Personally, Brittney finds inspiration in exploring nature and artistic endeavors, but her greatest motivation is her role as a mother. She approaches every project with the intention of leaving a space more meaningful than she found it.

Manuela is a dynamic business development professional and licensed real estate agent with over nine years of experience spanning engineering and project management across the U.S. and Latin America. She drives growth for JTI by pairing her technical background with a relationship-driven approach.
With an MBA in Business Intelligence and a degree in Industrial Engineering, Manuela combines analytical expertise with creative problem-solving. Fluent in English and Spanish, she is a master of aligning strategies across cultures. Manuela is passionate about using data-driven insights to optimize performance and fostering long-term partnerships. She leads with authenticity and a sense of humor, empowering both our Clients and the "JTI Gems" to innovate in fast-paced environments.

A graphic designer with a love for bringing ideas to life, she approaches every project with equal parts creativity and intention. Whether creating bold, colorful visuals full of personality or exploring clean, minimal aesthetics, she enjoys finding the balance between playful expression and thoughtful design.
A magna cum laude graduate of Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design, she is inspired by art, culture, and the stories that shape how people connect with brands and experiences. Her work is driven by a passion for creating designs that are engaging, memorable, and meaningful.
Outside of work, she’s probably saying yes to a random side quest with friends, planning her next concert, or seeking out new experiences. Those adventures bring fresh perspectives and ideas that naturally find their way back into her creative process.
