The Spark: Igniting Our Leadership Potential

Today was a great example of what happens when you’re not just in the room, but fully present and ready to grow. The Jewel Toned Gems spent the day immersed in leadership training with Coach Marc Nudelberg from OnTheBall, and it was exactly the kind of experience I’ve been craving.

The discussion went beyond typical business buzzwords. We dug into the core elements of what makes a great leader: mindset, communication strategies, coaching systems, priorities, and values. Coach Nudelberg challenged us to think about how all these pieces work together to form a cohesive and effective leadership style. It wasn't about a one-size-fits-all approach; it was about understanding our own unique makeup and how we can use it to lead with authenticity.

For me, the most powerful takeaway was the emphasis on mindset and self-awareness. We were literally being encouraged to push into a growth mindset—to see challenges not as roadblocks, but as opportunities to learn and evolve. Being in a space where vulnerability was a strength, and where self-reflection was the main tool, felt incredibly refreshing and empowering.
